I haven't been to the gym in nearly 3 months, and I've shied away from the sun longer than usual. While physical energy is down, logical thinking is at an all time high related to work. This morning, my head hurts like I spent the entire night drinking.
This is the time of year to be contemplating so-called New Year's resolutions. Originally I felt these sorts of things were merely excuses for people to procrastinate actually doing anything useful for themselves. Today, I'm telling you that it should be looked on as a yearly business plan for yourself.
So on to my checklist then right? Well, no not really. I did make some good progress in the gym this year, but that innertube ring of disgusting belly fat is creeping back up on me. It took about 3 months to get that thing to disappear last time, we'll keep better tabs on it now.
My excuse is the gym I'm at now is really totally off the beaten path from my day to day. The last gym I was at had 3 locations that I could always find some way to use one or the other at any given time. It was superior, in those respects. The only way I see myself getting to the gym at least regularly is to bring clothes with me to work, and force myself to take a round about way home.
I was going every single day, then for some reason decided to cut out every other day. That lead to a couple times a week, and eventually I said screw it. The only reason I know it's been 3 months is because my old debit card had expired and now my balance is up. I need to get that taken care of.
I'm still having a hard time socially converting myself off of high-strung night game to normal (toned-down) person. Pft. :P
